Priority 1 · Multilingual guided immigration forms
One clear question at a time, in the language you understand.
Immigration Made Friendly applies the guided-interview model proven by the Ontario LTB forms project to Canadian immigration. Start with your immigration goal and the IRCC route you will actually use, work through the questions in your preferred language, resolve gaps and inconsistencies, then review the verified form or portal-ready data required for that submission channel.
Guided interview preview
Understand the question before you answer it.
The preview uses illustrative information only. The production workflow will preserve the original response, show any controlled translation or normalization used for the submission, and require review before any official output is produced.
Employment
When did you begin your current employment?
Why this matters
Employment dates should line up with the documents you plan to rely on and with the dates entered elsewhere in the application.

Shared guided-forms architecture
Build the engine once. Verify each form package.
- 01Choose the process, filing route, and language
Start from the immigration goal, not a form number. The filing route determines whether an official PDF is required, and the interview language remains separate from the official output.
- 02Answer with context
Plain explanations, relevant follow-up questions, examples, and official-source guidance reduce ambiguity without changing the user's facts.
- 03Resolve gaps and contradictions
Date gaps, inconsistent names, missing history, required evidence, and conflicting answers are surfaced before submission preparation.
- 04Review the required submission output
Deterministic mappings produce a verified official form only when the selected IRCC channel requires one. Portal users instead receive the structured answers and document guidance required for that route.
Official sources and version control
YourLegalAid explains and prepares. IRCC remains authoritative.
Immigration forms, instructions, and submission channels change. Each package must track the exact official source, instructions, field map, validation rules, and verification date. The visitor-visa workflow now tracks IMM 5257 where that form is required, and the study-permit workflow tracks the current June 2026 IMM 1294 package. A stale or mismatched route stops output until it has been re-verified.
