Landlord Lookup · Source method

Official record first. Inference second—if ever.

The search reproduces selected fields from Ontario’s official LTB Order Catalogue and links every result to the government-published order. It does not turn an application code or a party name into a finding of fault.

Official source and coverage

The source is the Ontario government’s LTB Order Catalogue. The current release covers final orders issued from January through June 2026. Ontario says later orders will normally appear two to three months after issue and historical orders dating to 2021 will be added in phases.

Exact-name grouping

Records are grouped only when the normalized official landlord field is identical. The site does not automatically merge similar people, related corporations, property managers, or spelling variants. Users must confirm identity in the linked order.

What is deliberately excluded

Tenant, former-tenant, sub-tenant, occupant, co-op-member, and agent names are not copied into the public search index. Unit identifiers are removed where the catalogue presents them in a recognizable unit-number format.

No automatic tribunal score

An application code describes what was filed, not what the LTB proved. Therefore official records are not converted into a landlord score or concern band. Community ratings use their own 1–10 scale and remain visibly separate from tribunal history.

Data status and record questions

If a catalogue profile appears to reproduce the government data incorrectly, use the secure Contact page. Include the profile identifier and the government source needed to check the issue, but do not send confidential legal documents.

The catalogue is synchronized through a repeatable, staged, schema-checked import. A changed or missing government column, recognizable unit prefix, implausible record count, or incomplete review-target index stops publication instead of silently producing incorrect profiles.
